Activities

We meet on the second Wednesday of every month (except August) at 7.30 pm in the Harwell Village Hall.

This year's programme is proving both entertaining and informative, and includes local outings.

WI has a more serious side to it.  Each year resolutions on national issues are discussed and voted on in every institute in the country.  This year the resolution is "This meeting urges HM Government to introduce clear and mandatory origin labelling on all meat, poulty and fish products sold in this country ".  If passed nationally the resolution is then presented to the Government, so the WI is a force to be taken seriously.
